I'm starting to get excited about my upcoming trip to Hong Kong (and a little bit apprehensive about leaving my girls for so long). With a couple of children's birthdays while I am there, as well some gifts just for the sake of it, I've been sewing up a veritable storm. I think I'm pretty safe showing this stuff here since not many kids read this blog.
I'm really happy with these bags, full of conkers gathered last year and now just perfect for smashing an opponent's to smithereens. In fact, my little one liked them so much, she insisted I make one for her and her friend.
I've also ordered some fabric and oil cloth from my favourite fabric store to get started on some Christmas presents. Damn shame it's in New York (but perhaps better for my bank balance).
