If there were truth in blogging, then I would be posting photos of neglected raspberry canes, weed-choked flowers beds and tomato vines sagging under the weight of their fruit.
But there isn't.
No, blogland is a place of carefully edited snapshots of how you would like life to be. And to that end, I thought I'd show you some of the fruit of my - admittedly minimal - labour.
Runner beans (and runner beans and runner beans and runner beans...), raspberries that still keep a'coming and finally (in October?) tomatoes! And, I have to say, they are truly the most delicious tomatoes I have ever tasted. I am completely biased, it is true. If you were here, I'd give you some to take home. And some runner beans. Whether you like them or not.
Because they're there, we are also having a go at harvesting the sunflower seeds. At some later date, they will be lightly toasted in a warm oven and lovingly sprinkled with sea salt (organic, of course).
Gripping stuff, I know. Watch this space.
Listening.
